"JOHN and FRANCES RANDOLPH also had two other sons, one died early. The Virginia Randolphs must have come from some other branch of Richard's family. He had 3 sons and 3 daughters; Richard II, Brett, John, Mary, Jane, and Elizabeth. This John was the father of John the firey statesman and the two other boys of whom I spoke. This was the lineage as John gave it and it was said he was very proud to claim his descent from Pocohantas. I also found the same line up from another biography of Randolphs and fr om 'Pocahontas and Her Descendants.' by Robertson."
